Lionel Messi Barcelona

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo is the favourite to finish as the top scorer in the 2017-18 Champions League, according to dabblebet . The Portuguese is rated at 13/8 to repeat the feat this season.

Ronaldo is followed by Lionel Messi , who is priced at 9/2, while Harry Kane  comes next at 6/1.  Edinson Cavani is priced at 6/1 and his PSG team-mate  Neymar is deemed an 7/1 bet. Manchester United striker  Romelu Lukaku and Bayern Munich forward  Robert Lewandowski (both 22/1) are considered outside bets.

The chances of Barca's Luis Suarez (40/1), Manchester City's Sergio Aguero (33/1) or Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain (28/1) winning the award are fairly slim.
