Charlene Choi: Gillian Chung is overwhelmed by wedding prep
18 Apr - Although Gillian Chung's wedding is just a month away, good friend Charlene Choi admitted that there is a lot to be done by the singer.
According to Mingpao, Charlene, who spoke to the media at the Hong Kong Film Awards' red carpet recently, shared that neither she nor the other celebrities who will be part of Gillian's bridal party have all the information about the reception.
"[Gillian] hasn't even chosen a dress yet. She is a mess. Earlier, she made a mistake of booking her flight on Hong Kong time. She has no experience at all and has a lot to deal with," she said jokingly, adding that they are waiting for the singer to give them a complete to-do list.
Charlene also revealed that she plans to give Gillian a wedding dress as a gift no matter how much it cost.
"Joey [Yung] wants to chip in as well. We just want her to look beautiful on her wedding day," she said.
However, the singer stated that boyfriend Anthony Shi will not be joining her at the wedding as it coincides with his and his sister's birthday.
Gillian will be tying the knot with her Taiwanese boyfriend Michael Lai on 25 May.
