Charlene Choi's new movie to compete at Osaka

11 Feb – After being selected as CinemAsia Film Festival's closing film, it was reported that Charlene Choi's new movie, "The Lady Improper" is going to another film festival next month.

The Osaka Asian Film Festival recently announced that the upcoming movie has been selected as one of the 14 movies that will compete at the festival, and will have the opportunity to win the Grand Prix and Most Promising Talent Award.

The movie will be facing tough competition from the likes of films like China's "The Crossing", Korea's "Maggie", and Philippines' Metro Manila Film Festival entry, "The Girl in the Orange Dress".

Aside from "The Lady Improper", two other Hong Kong films, "Still Human" starring Anthony Wong, and Chapman To-starrer "G Affairs" will also be competing in the festival.

The upcoming 2019 Osaka Asian Film Festival will run from 8 to 17 March.
