'Chicago Med' Stars Colin Donnell and Patti Murin Are Expecting Their First Child Together
Chicago Med's Patti Murin is pregnant with her first child.
The actress has been married to Colin Donnell since 2015.
The couple announced on Instagram their baby girl is due in "summer 2020."
Colin Donnell and Patti Murin are officially taking on a new role together: Parenthood.
The former Chicago Med stars are expecting their first child after almost five years of marriage, and they're "totally thrilled."
"I don’t think there’s any way to really prepare ourselves," Colin, 37, told People. "At least twice a day we’re like, 'Oh my gosh! This is really happening, isn't it?' It’s crazy exciting. We're just super, overwhelmingly happy."
The couple already shares two rescue dogs together, and included them in their sweet pregnancy announcement on Instagram.

"These guys are excited for Summer 2020," Colin wrote.
The baby girl is due at the end of July and Patti, 39, still can't believe that she is "going to be someone's mom." Earlier this month, the actress finished her two-year run on Broadway as Princess Anna in the musical Frozen—and it turned out to be perfect timing.
"For the past 17½ weeks, I’ve been living this dual life of being two people: a Disney princess and also, pregnant," she explained. "So I’m really looking forward to closing this chapter and concentrating on preparing for this next adventure."

A few days after revealing the big news, Patti shared a photo of herself wearing a gingham, two-piece bathing suit while on vacation with Colin.
"I love the beach and my husband who is willing to take all the pictures without making me feel like an idiot," she wrote.
Fans were quick to comment that Patti looks like she's "glowing"—and we couldn't agree more.
