The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will be returning to Netflix later this month, it’s been announced.

A new trailer for season three has finally been released giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come: cheerleading, punch-ups and spooky woodland rituals.

New episode will debut on the streaming service on 24 January.

In December, the show’s creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, announced the return of the show: “Praise Satan! I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Bros, Netflix, Berlanti Television and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous witch.”

A darker re-imagination of the nineties classic starring Melissa Joan Hart, the Netflix original quickly garnered a fan base after the success of its first season.

The show has an impressive 80 per cent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, and 90 per cent among critics.

Kiernan Shipka, previously known for her role as Sally Draper in HBO’s Mad Men, will be returning as the teenage witch, alongside cast members, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Gavin Leatherwood, and Michelle Gomez.

According to Deadline, new characters are likely to stir trouble. Among them is Caliban, the Prince of Hell, who will be played by Sam Corlett.
