SINGAPORE — Chong Pang Wet Market & Food Centre is among the new locations added by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to the list of public places visited by COVID-19 cases in the community recently.

The other locations are Is Salon at Bukit Batok Street 31, Warren Golf & Country Club, HomeTeamNS Khatib including Suki-Suki Thai Hot Pot and Orchid Live Seafood, and Northpoint City in Yishun.

The dates visited in the list were from 29 July to 8 August, the MOH said on Wednesday (12 August).

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” the MOH added.

The list – which excludes residences, workplaces, healthcare facilities, and public transport – will be updated on a rolling 14-day basis or one incubation period. First published on 25 May, the list compiles places visited by infectious cases in the community for over 30 minutes.

The MOH confirmed 42 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of Wednesday noon, taking the country’s total case count to 55,395.
