Chow Yun Fat is not for making movies for free
15 Sep – Although he plans to donate all his wealth to charity after his passing, it doesn't mean that Chow Yun Fat will be charitable enough to do a movie for free.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared on the talk show, "A Date with Luyu" recently, stated that while his foundation will donate money in the future, earning money and getting salary is a kind of rule that everybody has to follow.
"Making money is the rule, acting is the motivation. The motivation is not to put money into the foundation, but acting is. It is and will always be my biggest passion," he said.
Chow also said that his love for acting also means that he doesn't care whether he wins or loses an award.
"I haven't been disappointed when I don't win an award. The ultimate goal of acting is not to win one," he added.
