Chris Evans responds to fans demanding Captain America/Bucky romance
When Avengers: Endgame star Chris Evans spoke about Captain America aka Steve Rogers' love for Peggy Carter during the film's press tour, he was actually faced with chants of "Bucky".
Speaking to a stadium-sized crowd in Shanghai, Evans said if Steve Rogers had the Time Stone, he'd use it to pursue a relationship with Peggy. But the audience seemed to prefer the idea of him coupling up with his one-armed chum Bucky Barnes.

"If I had the Time Stone, I think Steve Rogers would be interested in pursuing a relationship with Peggy Carter," said Evans. "Honestly, the Time Stone, if he can go anywhere – I mean, he’s the man out of time. He’s had to reconcile the fact that he’s not from this place, and Peggy Carter really represents... a love."
Director Anthony Russo then interjected: "Somebody just shouted, 'What about Bucky?'" Naturally, that prompted the crowd to start chanting the character's name.
"Hey, hey, hey, Bucky is my boy. I got a lot of love for Bucky," Evans said in response, which earned him a chorus of cheers. "But you know... something about Steve Rogers," he tried to elaborate, before being interrupted by more chants of "Bucky".

"But at least I’ve been able to reconnect with Bucky. Peggy is a lost love," Evans eventually added, before realising he was fighting a losing battle.
"But what about Bucky?!" teased Ant-Man star Paul Rudd, which kicked off the chants all over again.
This is a romance we can definitely get behind. Shall we go with Stucky or Beve?
Avengers: Endgame will be released on Thursday, April 25 in the UK and on Friday, April 26 in the US.
