This week has brought us yet more happy baby news, with Chrissy Teigen and John Legend announcing that they're expecting their third child together. Congrats, guys!

Since unveiling the news of their latest addition, Chrissy also revealed more details about how she found out that she was pregnant, explaining that she has taken a pregnancy test every month since she was 21.

The 34-year-old took to Twitter to answer questions about her pregnancy - and she also appeared to suggest that this third baby was unplanned, responding to followers' questions.

With Chrissy and John using IVF to have their first two children, Luna and Miles, Chrissy's followers were curious as to whether this third baby was unexpected as they appeared to have conceived naturally.

One follower wrote, "omg. This baby wasn't planned? This is similar to those who have tried for years, only to adopt- and then find themselves pregnant."

Chrissy responded, explaining why she takes such regular pregnancy tests, saying, "Anyone who knows me knows I have taken a pregnancy test nearly every month since I was 21. I know it's weird. I just always, always wanted to see a positive. This was the time!"

She also revealed exactly how many times she took a test to confirm her pregnancy, adding in response to another follower, "I probably took 12 that morning."

Chrissy went on to explain how she didn't know she was pregnant when she had her breast implants removed in June, despite taking a test.

She wrote, "I did the routine pregnancy test you do before surgery. It said negative. It was not negative.

"A few weeks after surgery, I took a test. And for many years now, I've taken pregnancy tests almost every month, praying to see a positive one day. Just wishful thinking. I never had a positive before."

Chrissy continued, saying she expected to be disappointed again when taking her monthly test before adding, "...I was not disappointed. But I was scared shitless. Was pretty positive you shouldn't get your boobs out while pregnant? Pretty sure."

Chrissy then explained that she hadn't thought she could get pregnant naturally, writing, "So we prayed to the boob surgery gods that everything would be okay. Went to every appointment terrified. Even without the surgery, I didn't think I could get pregnant naturally anyway. So the odds just felt...bad.

"But what they say so often can be true. When you give up on trying, life has a way of surprising you."

Continuing to hint that the baby was a surprise, Chrissy added, "we joked before about allllll the people having corona babies, we really did. 'couldn't be us!!'"

We can't wait to meet the little one. Congratulations to Chirssy and John!
