The Collector: Online is available now through November 17, with The Collector: Live taking place in-person at Christie's King Street in London on November 12 in accordance with social distancing guidelines. Longo curated five room vignettes for this auction that were styled at the historic Syon House, driven by his aspiration to live much as those exploring at the time of the Grand Tour did throughout the mid-17th and into the late-18th centuries.

"I have always been inspired by nature, travel, and art throughout my life, and the opportunity to re-create a series of rooms ‘at home’ in the classical surroundings of Syon House, with carte blanche to select my preferred lots across both of The Collector sales, was a way of bringing this to life," says Longo. "It is possible to reimagine these period pieces with a modern touch in today’s home as much as in this grand conservatory."

The Live sale will feature 299 lots that include the best of European decorative arts from the high Rococo of Louis XVI to English Regency.
