Christina Aguilera will always be associated with peroxide blonde, which is one of the reasons her dalliances with red through the last few years have been so enjoyable. And we all know from the iconic 2007 Candyman music video (you know, the one where she played a trio of brunette/blonde/redhead singing beauties), that she can pull off all three. But her latest style is what she does best, and in its purest form.
Taking her peroxide blonde tresses so pale and creamy that they look white, Christina chose the silkiest water wave style for the launch of her new business venture, and we're obsessed.
Unlike bouncy blows with volumising extensions, or poker-straight sheets of hair, Christina's gentle trailing water waves have a natural thickness and soft ripple. When paired with her white hue, this — quite simply put — looks angelic. The style wouldn't look out of place on a lounging, wistful hun in a Pre-Raphaelite work of art.
Keeping her brows dark, Christina wore a soft glam eye and lip of chestnut browns, but with a sharp black winged liner and full lash, keeping it distinctly her.
The shoot was to launch her new sexual wellness brand Hello Playground, with Xtina telling fans and followers: "I’ve spent my entire career encouraging everyone, but especially women to feel empowered while owning their sexuality! The better you feel about yourself, the better you can live your life and own EVERY capacity of it!"
Continuing; "I am so proud to be a co-founder of @hello.playground an amazing women-owned brand that’s committed to making sexual wellness products more accessible and ✨FUN✨ for all! 💕"
She really is an angel 👼🏼
