Chuckle Brothers star Paul Chuckle says he's recovering from coronavirus

Chuckle Brothers legend Paul Chuckle has confirmed that he's recovering from coronavirus.

Yesterday (March 30), he uploaded a Twitter video speaking to the camera to update fans on his symptoms.

"Hi guys, just checking in to let you know I'm still around," he said. "I have been laid up with COVID-19 for a good few days, just mild but it was there, it was not nice I promise you."

The ChuckleVision star went on to encourage everyone to stay indoors during this health crisis.

"We're all going stir crazy, we know that, but please stay inside – take the pressure off the NHS, Marie Curie etc etc," he added.

"Please, please, stay in guys and enjoy as best you can."

A number of Paul's famous followers left responses wishing the 72-year-old a speedy recovery, with Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness writing: "Stay well pal. Good to see you."

Our Girl star Danny Hatchard also added: "Get well soon Paul. We all love ya."
