CJ WOW SHOP hits one million customers

KUALA LUMPUR: Innovative home shopping network CJ WOW SHOP hit a new milestone yesterday as it surpassed the one million registered customers mark in 888 days of its operations. Rusliana Sigian from Bandar Sri Damansara emerged as the one millionth shopper with her purchase of the ‘Spinax Zero Gravity Lounge Chair’ from the platform. “Crossing this momentous milestone solidifies our footing to be the leading media commerce platform that wows the lives of more Malaysians. This is an extension of CJ WOW SHOP’s commitment to deliver ‘shoppertainment’ – a satisfying shopping experience that is not just entertaining, but also one that customers can love, trust and rely on,” said Chief Executive Officer of CJ WOW SHOP, Kim Yang Hyun during his visit to thank and congratulate Ruslina. CJ WOW SHOP aims to end the year on a strong note by suprassing the RM200 million annual revenue mark. This is supported by a slew of initiatives that has successfully rolled-out throughout the year, starting with its second-year anniversary campaign, ‘2 Tahun, Lebih WOW!’, which recorded three times more customers than its daily average. The home shopping service is a hit with Malaysians and since the end of 2017 has grown its customer base by 56 per cent, managing to secure a strong base of repeat customers. Its Top 100 customers spent close to an average of RM14,600 per person on their purchases. Appreciative of their support, the home shopping network embarked on the “WOW in a Million” initiative, to tour the nation visiting the Top 100 customers, and thanking them with gifts and rewards delivered to their doorstep. “Our success is paved by the trust and satisfaction of customers who have supported us throughout the years.
