CM Gehlot approves proposal of new police stations in Jodhpur

Jaipur (Rajasthan) September 17 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to open a new police station, upgrade three police posts to police stations and open three new police posts in Jodhpur. CM Gehlot also approved the creation of 233 new posts for these police stations and more than Rs 50 lakh to provide necessary resources in these police stations. Along with this, an amount of Rs.7 crore 30 lakh has also been approved for construction of buildings in police stations where the building is not available. According to the proposal, a new police station Mata Ka Than will be opened in the Police Commissionerate, Jodhpur. The Police Post Air Force, Police Post Bhagat ki Kothi and Police Post Pratapnagar will be upgraded to police station. Apart from this, the Chief Minister has approved the proposal to open a new Police Post Kirti Nagar under Police Station Mata Ka Than, Kaylana Jheel under Police Station Rajiv Gandhi Nagar and Kaliberi under Police Station Sursagar.
