Coast Guard Rescues Hikers Stranded by Rising Tide in Port Townsend

The US Coast Guard rescued two hikers who found themselves surrounded by the rising tide near Port Townsend, Washington, on October 13.

The Coast Guard Pacific Northwest said “the rising tide left the hikers surrounded by water with no safe passage to shore. Wisely, the hikers called for help rather than enter the cold water.”
