Coleen's followers were quick to share their support in the replies, as one wrote: "This family have been to hell and back too many times, life is so cruel. They are beautiful brave warriors and together we can help them get through it again."

"Absolutely heart broken hearing this. You ladies are so brave, stay strong for each other. Sending strength to you all," wrote another.

Coleen's Loose Women colleagues also reacted to the news on today's show (August 3), with presenter Andrea McLean sharing a heartfelt message of support to Coleen and her sisters from the studio.

"We want to send a really special message to our Coleen and her family," she began.

"So, from us to you, we love you," added Andrea, as today's panel, including Stacey Solomon, Penny Lancaster and Denise Welch, all joined her in blowing a kiss down the camera.
