Coronation Street's Paul Foreman is urged to move on by Billy and Gemma

Coronation Street's Paul Foreman faces some difficult conversations with Billy Mayhew and Gemma Winter next week, as the Kel Hinchley storyline continues.
Paul (Peter Ash) is facing the very real possibility that Kel may never be brought to justice for sexually abusing him when he was a child.
Earlier this week, Paul and Bernie were told that they were guilty of entrapment after taking drastic steps to expose Kel's evil true nature. This meant that they could have inadvertently ruined any future case against Kel.
Upcoming scenes see Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) speak candidly to Paul about the situation, pointing out that Kel might never be punished for his disturbing crimes.

Billy suggests to Paul that he needs to find a way to move forward with his life and not let the past affect his future, although he understands how difficult this will be.
Later in the week, a vigilante posts a burning rag through the letterbox at Gemma and Chesney's home. Having watched the livestream video that Bernie made to expose Kel, the arsonist wrongly believes that Kel lives at Number 5 and wants to make him pay.
Although everyone gets out unharmed – including Gemma and the quads – the family are too scared to return home in case there are further attacks.

In a heart-to-heart with her brother, Gemma echoes Billy's previous words by asking Paul to put his ordeal with Kel behind him, rather than taking the law into his own hands again.
Still understandably haunted by his past, will Paul be able to do this?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 22 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
