Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Paul Foreman will become involved in a violent row at his friend Shelly Rossington's funeral.
Friday's (September 15) episode aired the death of Shelly. In recent months the pair became close bonding over their MND (motor neurone disease) diagnoses.
In the tragic episode, Paul set off to speak with Shelly at her flat. After falling and injuring himself, Paul called Todd Grimshaw who told him he would have to start using a wheelchair.

Later, after attempting to call Shelly, the soap revealed that paramedics had arrived at Shelly's house where they explained she had died in her sleep.
In upcoming scenes, Paul will be forced to deal with the death of one of his closest friends as Billy conducts Shelly's funeral.
When Paul stands up at the funeral to say a few words about his confidant, Shelly's brother Kieran objects to the speech. Hitting back at Shelly's brother during the confrontation, Paul tells Kieran off for failing to support his sister when she was dying.
Furious at being told he wasn't there for Shelly, Kieran and Paul become involved in a tussle, during which Paul accidentally smacks Billy in the face.

Previously speaking about viewer reactions to Paul's MND diagnosis, Peter Ash told Digital Spy: "It's been amazing, it really has. Everyone's been amazing, it's been quite overwhelming. To get messages from people who have lost loved ones and who are currently living with loved ones who have MND, it really is something. I appreciate all the kind responses we've had so far.
"Once it's confirmed that Paul has MND, you know he's going because there's no cure so it's got to happen at some point. People have been lovely saying they don't want me to go and stuff like that. I really appreciate that. Corrie fans are amazing."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
