Country Musician David Morris Marries Model Miranda Harrison: See the Exclusive Photos!
The couple said "I do" in a kitschy, vintage-inspired California ceremony after 10 years of dating
Country musician David Morris and model Miranda Harrison “I do” in a dreamy, vintage-inspired ceremony.
The singer and influencer, who have been together for 10 years, tied the knot on Oct. 7 at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California, a landmark hotel that combined their love of kitsch and retro glamour.
The eclectic-yet-romantic venue was a “no-brainer” because it “matched the tone and aesthetic of the wedding” so much that hardly any decorations were actually needed, the couple exclusively tells PEOPLE.
A tangible testament to Harrison’s love of “vintage aesthetic and romance” — a fondness that is evident with a quick glance at her Instagram — the retro ceremony resembled a vintage Valentine’s card come to life.
Pink and red reigned supreme, while accents of gold, blue, green and mauve enhanced the ceremony’s warm, retro aesthetic, along with vintage-inspired motifs like cherubs and hearts. (Even the couple’s six-layer, raspberry wedding cake was heart-shaped.)
The bride and groom wanted their special day to be “unique” — and “most importantly, fun” — for both themselves and their 111-person guest list, which included Tana Mongeau and Orange Is the New Black actress Rebecca Knox.
But, above all else, the ceremony was a family affair, which was especially fitting for Morris and Harrison, whose families share a special connection that caught them both by surprise.
Years into their relationship, the couple stumbled across a photo from Harrison’s fourth birthday party — and both of them were in it. Soon after, they learned why: Morris’ father and Harrison’s mother were coworkers in the 1990s.

Fittingly, the former coworkers — along with several other family members — played a central role in the wedding.
Harrison’s godmother officiated the ceremony, and her mother, along with Morris’ father, were the readers for the nuptials. Harrison’s nieces, ages 1 and 3, were flower girls and after saying “I do,” the couple’s maltipoo, Lotus, accompanied the newlyweds down the aisle.
However, it was Harrison’s strapless, vintage-inspired dress, the Ilaria Gown by Katherine Tash, that stole the show, especially in the model’s wedding content on TikTok, which garnered more than 20 million views and 4 million likes.
Both Morris and Harrison are singer-songwriters, so, naturally, music was also a highlight of the vintage-inspired ceremony — and, like the nuptials, was a charming blend of old and new.
The groom walked down the aisle to a ‘70s love song, Willie Hutch’s “I Choose You,” and met the bride at the altar to a modern hit, “Yebba’s Heartbreak” by Drake. After exchanging vows, both traditional and handwritten, their kiss and exit were soundtracked by a rom-com classic, “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer.
At the reception, the bride and groom honored a special memory with their first dance to Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon.”
The couple saw Young perform the song at the Desert Trip music festival in Indio, California, in 2016, and felt it “perfectly” encapsulated their relationship and the way they have grown together, they tell PEOPLE.
Later in the night, one of Morris’ groomsmen, Eddie Traynor, provided guests with an energetic DJ set featuring an impromptu performance from the groom, who rapped his track “Dutton Ranch Freestyle.”

For Morris, who popped the question in August 2021, the wedding was just the cherry on top of his 10-year relationship with Harrison — and the beginning of the rest of their life together.
“For me, getting married is putting a stamp on an amazing relationship,” the country singer says. “Telling each other and the world this is my person. And I can’t live without her.”
Harrison adds, "After 10 years of being together, getting married means that we continue to choose each other every day and progress as a unit, a family and a partnership.”

According to the model, her favorite thing about her husband is the way he looks at life. "David's outlook on life is unlike anyone I've ever met,” she tells PEOPLE. “His positivity, aspirations and selflessness for others motivates me to be a better version of myself every day."
For Morris, it’s his wife’s “love and kindness,” which he says “knows no bounds.”
"The way she treats me, her friends and family, her nieces, is the most beautiful thing in the world,” he says. “We’ve grown so much together over the past 10 years and are so in sync that I couldn’t imagine my life or a future without her."
