SINGAPORE – IKEA Alexandra, Omakase Burger at Wisma Atria and Ananas Cafe at Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4 were among the destinations added to the list of public places visited by COVID-19 cases during their infectious period.

The list issued on Saturday (1 August) covered places visited between 18 July and 29 July.

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a news release.

The list – which excludes residences, workplaces, healthcare facilities, and public transport – will be updated on a rolling 14-day basis or one incubation period. First published on 25 May, the list compiles places visited by infectious cases in the community for over 30 minutes.

On Saturday, the MOH confirmed 307 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore, taking the total to 52,512.
