Children in hospital after bus and lorry crash
Five children have been taken to hospital as a precaution after a crash involving a bus and lorry in Leicestershire, police have said.
The bus contained a "number of school children" and 16 passengers sustained minor injuries following the collision on the A46, near Syston, a Leicestershire Police spokesperson said.
The crash, which happened at about 09:30 GMT, closed the dual carriageway northbound between A607 near Cossington and the B676.
National Highways said normal traffic conditions were expected to resume between 15:30 and 15:45.
