A Chicago-area man set up a memorial with 58 white crosses for each of the Las Vegas shooting victims at the city’s iconic welcome sign on Thursday, October 5.
Greg Zanis, who founded the Crosses for Life nonprofit, created a similar memorial after the Pulse nightclub shooting in June 2016. He also erected crosses after the Columbine and Sandy Hook shootings. The crosses will remain for about 40 days before they are donated to the families of the victims.
