Mourners were seen laying flowers as they gathered for a vigil on Thursday night to pay respect to a teenager stabbed to death in Croydon.

Elianne Andam, 15, was killed as she made her way to school in south London on Wednesday morning (27 September), with members of the public rushing to try to save her.

Her family visited the scene on Thursday as crowds gathered outside the police cordon.
