Crystal Palace vs Everton confirmed line-ups: Team news ahead of Premier League fixture today

Crystal Palace host Everton on Saturday in the Premier League as both sides seek to protect their unbeaten records.

Roy Hodgson’s side have defied expectations by winning their opening two games, against Southampton and Manchester United, with Wilfried Zaha in brilliant form.

They come up against Carlo Ancelotti’s new-look Everton, who have also started the season with a flourish, defeating Tottenham and West Brom.

The Toffees rejuvenated midfield of James Rodriguez, Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure has been particularly brilliant, with all three players rested for the club’s Carabao Cup victory over Fleetwood Town.

What is the team news?

Gary Cahill, James Tomkins, Patrick van Aanholt and Nathan Ferguson are all injured as Palace continue to juggle a series of defensive absentees. However, Jairo Alderweireld is nearing a return. Christian Benteke is also in contention to make the squad.

Mason Holgate, Jarrad Branthwaite, Jonas Lossl, Cenk Tosun and Jean-Philippe Gbamin all remain sidelined. However, Rodriguez, Allan and Doucoure all return having been rested for the Carabao Cup.
