John Koh has been appointed by Cushman & Wakefield’ UK residential team as the Singapore-based head of its international project marketing, reported The Business Times.

Previously employed by Colliers, Knight Frank and PropNex, Koh had marketed various leading projects for many high-profit developers in the UK.

The appointment will see him leading a new in-house team that specialises in the sale of new-build residential developments across London and the UK.

“The UK, in particular London, has traditionally been a popular investment destination for Asian investors. This investment appetite continues to grow, particularly for well-located developments,” said Neil Batty, head of the global international project marketing business at Cushman & Wakefield.

Cushman & Wakefield also revealed plans to expand its network of specialist sales teams in Southeast Asia and China.

The company already operates such teams in Asia including Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

“The story on Asian capital is far from over. Asian investors are still exploring the world’s key gateway cities and London remains very attractive,” said Koh.

“Developers can leverage Cushman & Wakefield’s global and regional platforms to reach a wide network of investors.”
