Cyclone Gulab likely to re-emerge as Shaheen: IMD

New Delhi, Sep 29 (ANI): India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that Cyclonic Storm ‘Gulab’ will become new cyclone named 'Shaheen' from October 1 in the Gujarat coast. “The low-pressure area created due to Cyclonic Storm ‘Gulab’ is now in the Gujarat coast, Northeast Arabian Sea and will intensify into a depression by September 30. From October 1, it will become a new cyclone named 'Shaheen'. Fishermen and ships are advised not to venture into the north and adjoining the central Arabian Sea and along and off Gujarat and north Maharashtra coasts till October 3,” said senior scientist RK Jenamani.
