Czechs have swapped shoes for skis
as once-in-a-decade snow blanketed Prague's streets

"This is amazing. It happens only once in five to 10 years so it would be a shame not to enjoy it. We had the skis here, so we decided to go for a ski and it’s superb."
(SOUNDBITE) (Czech) PRAGUE RESIDENT, RAY SALMAN, SAYING:
"I used to perform every day as a magician for children, I was called Mr. Tie, and I used to have performances every day, and now I’m cross-country skiing every day around Prague. You can go cross-country skiing everywhere, I skied for about 20 kilometers, mainly in parks."
