Fearless Forecast: 1506 TOTAL YDS, 45 REC, 12 TD
Projected Rank: 5
- Even as the Vikings go away from a run-based, old school prehistoric offense under Mike Zimmer, I think Dalvin Cook still gets the bump with guys like Justin Jefferson in the passing game and whatever, because this offense should score more points. They should play at a faster pace under Kevin O'Connell.
And Dalvin Cook is still a threat in the passing game. There's actually been some talk that he's lining up a little more all over the field. I don't know that he's going to play much of slot snaps or anything like that, but I think they will design plays to get him the ball in space and in the passing game.
He's kind of an injury risk. Every now and again he might miss two or three games every year, but he's a pretty easy guy to stack with Alexander Mattison or get him off the waiver wire or whatever. When Dalvin Cook is out there, he's still been very good. I still expect them to be very good at Fantasy this year. Right now, I've got him for just under-- just over 1,500 total yards. And he's my running back five this year.
