Delhi Police to integrate PCRs with police station beats from Sept 1

New Delhi, Sep 1 (ANI): Delhi Police is set to integrate the Police Control Room (PCR) patrolling vans with the existing beats of the police stations from September 1. Delhi Police Public Relation Officer (PRO), Chinmoy Biswal on August 31 said, “From Sept 1, PCR units will be integrated with district teams. Law and Order and investigation functions will be tackled separately. PCR staff will work as operations staff of police stations. Law and Order function will be handled by PCR staff. He further added that “Investigation cases will be handled by emergency crime units under Investigation Inspector. Law and order and investigation functions will be supervised by SHO.”
