  • Duane "Dog" Chapman is once again fighting off rumors about his health.

  • He posted a new photo to Instagram to shut down false information that he's died.

Another day, another time Dog the Bounty Hunter has to shut down the “haters.”

The Dog’s Most Wanted star has been battling the rumor mill since his wife Beth Chapman passed away from throat cancer in June 2019. You’d think he could expect some peace in the new year, but doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.

In January, Dog posted a screenshot of an article claiming he “Died of suicide after depression attack on his sickness.” Dog, who is very much alive, captioned the alarming photo with, “Not so fast HATERS.”

This is actually the second time that Dog has slammed false reports about his death. In November, he shared a “proof of life” shot to set the record straight when similar stories were circulating.

Though he’s thankfully still with us, one fact that is true is Dog had some scary health issues recently. He was hospitalized for chest pains and eventually diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism last fall, but is now trying to practice a healthy diet and stop smoking to improve himself.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the only drama Dog is dealing with at the moment. His daughter, Lyssa, got in a major Twitter war with Moon Angell, a woman Lyssa claims to be Dog’s new girlfriend though he has denied that fact. After that, Moon’s son, Justin, was arrested reportedly after Lyssa tipped off the police that he was allegedly violating his probation.

Hoping Dog and his family can find some resolutions soon. In the meantime, don’t believe everything you read!
