Don’t want Afghanistan to be used as shelter for terrorists: French Envoy

New Delhi, Sep 28 (ANI): On possibility of terror threat from Afghanistan after takeover by Taliban, Ambassador of France to India, Emmanuel Lenain said that they don’t want the country’s territory to be used as shelter for terrorists or training camps. He said, “We are on same page (with India) on the condition we have set in Afghanistan. We want unfettered humanitarian access, all those who want to leave be able to do so; we want respect for human rights, women's right to education.” “We want an inclusive government and that the country isn't used as shelter for terrorists, training camps or doesn't export terrorism. We had same assessment. Right now, Taliban hasn't delivered on any demand of international communities; we're going to be pretty stringent,” added French Ambassador.
