Donald Trump escorts grandchildren on to Marine One presidential helicopter
Donald Trump's grandchildren paid a visit to the White House on Friday and left in style after the president escorted them aboard Marine One.
Arabella Kushner, five, and her brother Joseph, three, were dressed in winter coats as Mr Trump walked them across the White House lawn and on to the presidential helicopter.
They were joined on board by their parents, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, as the family set off for South Carolina, where the President was due to tour a Boeing plant in North Charleston.
The family recently moved from New York to Washington to support Mr Trump after his inauguration as president.
Ivanka and her family appear to be settling in well and she has been documenting the move on Instagram.
The family moved to Washington over the inauguration weekend and her husband Jared Kushner began his unpaid job as a senior adviser to Mr Trump in the White House on the Monday of the following week.
They are living in the same area as the Obamas, in the upscale neighbourhood of Kalorama.
The families live only a few hundred yards from each other in the leafy district populated by embassies, politicians and ambassadors.
Ivanka has stepped away from her business responsibilities as she prepares to take on a role in the White House.
