Donnie Yen buys property for wife

11 Mar – Doting husband, Donnie Yen, has bought wife, Cecilia 'Cissy' Wang, a HKD135 million landed detached house at Mountain Davis Road, Hong Kong after renewing their vows and paying for everything related to the ceremony.

According to Asianpopnews website, a source close to the couple revealed that Cecilia owns 80% of the property, whereas Donnie owns only 20%. The couple was able to avoid the property cooling measures which were rolled out by the Hong Kong government last month, and managed to save HKD5.73 million of stamp duties.

Asked if there is any truth in the report, Cecilia admitted that the couple had bought the million dollar property, stating, "I always liked the idea of moving into a bigger house. One of the reasons is that it will be more convenient when my parents-in-law return to Hong Kong. However, we have not decided whether to move in or lease out."

She also revealed her initial intention to invest in office buildings and factories, but abolished the idea after the implementation of the new cooling measures.

Cecilia stated, "I thought of investing in shops, but the priority is still on family. Everything is so expensive now. After buying this property, we have exhausted our savings". She added jokingly that she is pressuring Donnie to film more movies to regain their savings.
