Double deaths in Tampines being investigated

Police are investigating the unnatural deaths of two people whose bodies were discovered in Tampines on Monday night (29 May).

Police said they received a call for assistance at Block 520A Tampines Central 8 at 10.58pm. A 49-year-old man was found lying motionless at the foot of the block.

Subsequently, the body of a 46-year-old woman was also found in a residential unit in the same block. Both were pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

Earlier this month, a pair of unnatural deaths also occurred in Marsiling. In the unrelated case, a 59-year-man was discovered at the bottom of a block of flats, while a 31-year-old woman was found in a residential unit opposite to the block.
