Dozens of homes flooded after water pipe bursts
About 50 homes have been flooded after a water pipe burst in Basingstoke.
Residents in Trinidad Close alerted authorities that water was in their homes at about 05:20 GMT, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said.
Properties in Malta Close, Falkland Road and Carpenters Down have also been affected, but repairs have begun.
Firefighters left at about 08:30, and Basingstoke and Deane Council has opened Popley Fields Community Centre in Popley Way for those impacted.
