DPM conducts walkabout in Sabah's Kota Marudu


KOTA MARUDU: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi arrived at the Tamu market here this morning to kick off his walkabout in the district.

He was welcomed by hundreds of locals in the Dusun majority-populated area upon his arrival at 8.55am.

Accompanying him was Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman and Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister and Kota Marudu Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Maximus Johnity Ongkili.

Zahid is slated to have luncheon with leaders of the Barisan Nasional Kota Marudu division at a hotel here later.

He will then launch simultaneous meetings for the Kota Marudu Umno divisional wings of Wanita, Youth and Puteri, at the Kota Marudu Community Hall, before returning to Kuala Lumpur.
