DPM wraps-up Sabah visit with carnival launch

TAWAU: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi arrived at downtown Tawau’s municipal field at 2.30pm to launch the ‘Jalinan Kasih’ carnival, organised by Kalabakan Umno division's Training and Research bureau.

Zahid, who was accompanied by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman, had earlier attended a closed-door luncheon with Zone 6 Tawau Umno members at the Marco Polo Hotel here.

Prior to that, he was in Sandakan for a closed-door discussion with party members there.

Zahid is slated leave for Subang, Selangor, at 5pm.
