The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has confirmed that some Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries are offering their cash cards in exchange for loan.
In the so-called “Katok Cash Card” conducted by the DSWD-National Capital Region, 15 of the 61 beneficiaries they visited have been caught committing the said scheme.
The “Katok Cash Card” campaign began last year in Valenzuela and Caloocan.
Those caught pawning their cash cards were issued with written warnings.
They were also reminded of the agreement they entered into as 4Ps beneficiaries. — Rey Pelayo | UNTV News and Rescue
