Duchess of Cambridge wears blue Ghost dress to clap for carers with her children

On Thursday evening The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined by their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to clap for frontline workers currently battling the coronavirus pandemic.

The Cambridge family lead the clap for carers as part of the BBC’s Big Night In, which aims to raise funds for those affected by the outbreak.

Kate, 38, was seen emerging from the families Norfolk home with her children wearing a spring-ready floral dress by British brand, Ghost.

The satin midi dress, which featured a soft ruffle trim and retro-inspired puff sleeves usually retails for £129.

However, it’s currently on sale online at John Lewis & Partners and on Ghost’s website, where you can save 30% and buy the garment for £90.30.

Prince William complimented his wife’s outfit in a cerulean jumper and sky blue shirt.

The couple’s three children also wore varying shades of blue.

Princess Charlotte, 4, matched her mum wearing a paisley dress. Meanwhile, Prince George, 6, wore a checked shirt with the sleeves rolled up in a similar fashion to his father.

Thursday also marked Prince Louis’ second birthday, the youngest royal wore a navy ensemble with a white shirt.

During the evening Prince William also made an appearance with Stephen Fry on the Big Night In special. The pair collaborated in a tongue-in-cheek sketch where Fry portrayed his Blackadder character Lord Melchett.
