Duterte tells Joma Sison he can come home if he wants to

President Rodrigo Duterte has assured Communist Party of the Philippines founder, Jose Maria Sison, he can come home to the Philippines and will even be given freedom of movement if ever Sison decides to.

But this is as long as the CPP and the National Democratic Front Panel will come up with a formal bilateral ceasefire agreement with the government, stop collecting revolutionary taxes, stop claiming territories and free their political prisoners.

President R0odrigo Duterte said, “Dureza and Bello called me, sabi ko, (I said) ‘You tell Sison because he is sick, he is very sick, he can come home. I’ll give him a freedom of movement.’ But there are these three things na, una (firstly), stop the revolutionary tax; second is release all prisoners within the next two days; third is, do not claim any territories. Then guarantee of a ceasefire that is substantial. Kung wala yan, sabi ko ayaw ko (If these will not be followed, then I do not want).”
