Echo's KarlTzy wants to be the first double M4 champion

He previously won M2 with Bren Esports

Having left Bren Esports for Echo, Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno wants to be the first double M4 champion.

But he and his squad will have to take on fellow FIlipinos Blacklist International, the favourites of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship. Echo had lost to them in a close 3-2 at the upper bracket final, but have fought their way back to book a slot at the best-of-seven grand final.

It's looking to be an epic grand final, as these two rivals not only prove that the Philippines has the best MLBB players in the world, but that the other regions don't quite come close…yet.

"My chance is 60%," said KarlTzy, who plays the Jungler role for Echo. He also told Yahoo Esports SEA that if he "wins in the finals, he'll be the first double world champion."

Echo may have also possibly thought of a strategy against Blacklist, telling Yahoo Esports SEA that if Blacklist "are not changing the pick side, if they don't just first pick, we will still adjust."

The M4 Knockout Stage will be held from 7 to 15 January in the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan. The grand finals will take place later today at 6.30pm (GMT+8).
