Elections 2013 live update: Comelec proclaims 6 Senator-elect winners, Binay absent

May 14, 2013 12:01 AM: In the city of Manila, former President Joseph Estrada defeats Alfredo Lim in the mayoralty race. 

11:52 PM: The United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) expresses alarm over the alleged existence of "pre-shaded" ballots.

10:01 PM: Comelec commissioner Grace Padaca says Comelec will unveil a website to show partial results. As of 9 PM, 34,725 precincts are accounted for or that is 44.42 percent of total precincts nationwide. Padaca says Comelec will show partial, unofficial count through this new site: http://2013electionresults.comelec.gov.ph/

9:53 PM: Reports: Comelec now in en banc session after questionable figures from PPCRV's unofficial, partial results. 

9:43 PM: Meanwhile, former President Estrada leads the Manila mayoral race, initial and unofficial results show.

9:40 PM: PPCRV unofficial, partial tally resumes with Grace Poe still leading senatorial race with over 6.8 million votes. 

9:25 PM: PPCRV to resume unofficial, partial tally after correcting problems with its system.

9:00 PM: PPCRV halts unofficial, partial count after detecting erroneous results. The volume of votes coming in was way too high for the number of precincts, the group says.

8:12 PM: According to the unofficial, partial result from the PPCRV, Grace Poe now leads the senatorial race. Details here.

7:30 PM: The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting will continue its unofficial, partial count Monday night even after the Comelec en banc, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, decided to suspend official tally to Tuesday, 10 AM, May 14. 

7:24 PM: Comelec's Brillantes adds "tuloy-tuloy na ang canvassing bukas" as they resume canvassing tomorrow at 10 AM, May 14. #purplethumb 

7:23 PM: Comelec chairman Sixto Brillantes says the National Board of Canvassers has decided to suspend canvassing to gather more "substantial" results from precincts nationwide. #PurpleThumb

7:05 PM: The National Canvassing is suspended until 10 AM, Tuesday, May 14.

6:53 PM: The National Board of Canvassers inspect the machines that will aid them in the tally of votes.

6:30 PM: Thirty minutes remain before the end of voting.

6:15 PM: The Comelec en banc who is sitting as the National Board of Canvassers begin work. 

6:10 PM: You only have less than an hour to vote before the precincts close at 7:00 PM.
