All five Spice Girls met for a secret reunion recently, Emma Bunton has revealed.

The hugely successful 90s girl band reunited for a one-off tour last year, and though Posh Spice Victoria Beckham opted out of the tour, she got involved in the latest meet up.

Speaking on her Sunday night radio show on Heart FM, the Baby Spice star said: "Now as things slowly, slowly start to get back to normal and we’ve all started to meet up with friends again haven’t we?

"Which is strange... I actually started to think I would never see them again... well unless it was on Zoom calls.

"And this week, yes, I finally got to meet up with Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Victoria."

She continued: "Now you may think we propped up a bar somewhere or had drinks in the garden but no!" she laughed.

"We went on a social distancing walk in the woods, yes!

"This time last year we were performing at Wembley all glammed up... well this year we was in wellies… walking in the rain,”

"Yes, something you don’t see every day – five Spice Girls in their wellies!"

Gone are the high heels and those famous Spice Girl wedges, in are classic wellington boots. Much more practical, let’s be honest.

With music venues and concerts still a no go due to the coronavirus, there are currently no definite plans for the band to get back together.

However, once the world returns to something resembling normal, you can almost guarantee there will be rumours of further reunions, particularly with band’s 25 anniversary fast approaching.

But the question remains, if we see a more Spice Girl shows, will Posh Spice return to the pop star life after years of turning herself into a fashion?

Bunton’s radio show is on Heart every Sunday between 7pm and 10pm.
