Emmanuelle Seigner and Eva Green to star in fresh Polanski thriller
Emmanuelle Seigner and Eva Green have signed on to star in Roman Polanski's psychological thriller "Based on a True Story ("D'apres une histoire vraie"), with shooting set to start this November in Paris.
Co-written by Olivier Assayas, who was crowned best director at Cannes this year for his supernatural drama "Personal Shopper" starring Kristen Stewart, the film is an adaptation of Delphine de Vigan's novel of the same name.
The feature follows the story of a writer, played by French actress Seigner, who is harassed by faced with challenges after the release of her latest book attracts the eye of an obsessive woman (Green) (via IndieWire).
Mars Distribution will release the film in France, with Lionsgate to the sale of the film internationally.
