Emmerdale's Dan Spencer devastates Amelia after violent attack on Lloyd
Emmerdale's Dan Spencer is set to devastate his daughter Amelia following his violent attack on villain Lloyd.
Dan is set to be charged with GBH (grievous bodily harm) next week after punching Lloyd in scenes this week, which comes after the sleazy latter character befriended Amelia online posing as a woman. Lloyd later creepily cornered Amelia at the salon.
Following Dan's attack, Lloyd is rushed to hospital fighting for his life, and Dan is charged with GBH by the police despite his defences.

In follow-on scenes after being charged, Dan decides not to tell Amelia about his legal woes, though she soon discovers paperwork that reveals the GBH charge. He continues to despair when his daughter questions him about his arrest.
Later on, Dan takes a wander through the woods while drinking a bottle of whisky, though he is found by David. While chatting to David, Dan vents about how a stupid moment of madness has ruined his life, and has left him unable to take care of Amelia and Esther.

David struggles to talk him around, worried that he could face a murder charge if Lloyd were to die. David helps Dan back to Dale Head, where Amelia admits to her father that they need to have a frank conversation.
However, Dan devastates his daughter when, in his inebriated state, he unfairly blames his charge on her social media activity.
Will Dan come to regret his drunken rant, and will Amelia be able to accept her dad's apology?
