From next Monday (18 February), motorists travelling on Upper Bukit Timah Road and the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) will not have to pay Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) fees during certain periods of the day.

The ERP charge at Upper Bukit Timah Road, currently $1 from 8 to 8.30am, will be removed, according to the Land Transport Authority’s quarterly review released on Monday.

This would mean that the stretch will now have no ERP changes throughout the entire day.

Road users heading westbound on the MCE before the exit to Maxwell Road and on the slip road to Marina Coastal Drive, will no longer need to pay $1 at two gantries from 7.30 to 8am.
