Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates for segments of the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) will be raised with effect from 6 November.

From 8am to 9am on weekdays, drivers of cars, taxis and light goods vehicles travelling southbound along the KPE will be charged an additional $1 once they pass the ERP gantry after the Defu Flyover.

Similarly, those heading west along the PIE from 8am to 8.30am will be charged an additional $1 after passing the ERP gantry located before Eunos Link. In both instances, the total revised charge per vehicle will be $3 for the respective time periods.

The ERP rate revisions were announced by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in a press release on Monday (30 October) and come as part of the LTA’s quarterly review of traffic conditions along roads and expressways.

Another ERP review will take place in November to decide rates for the upcoming December school holidays.

Note: This story has been updated to correct an error in the time period for the new ERP rates on the KPE. It should be from 8am to 9am instead of 8am to 9pm.
