EU to get Covid travel pass after deal struck

Citizens and residents in the EU are set to get a Covid travel pass starting July 1 under a deal struck between EU countries and the European Parliament. The EU Digital Covid Certificate will show if the bearer is fully vaccinated, has immunity after infection, or has a negative PCR test result, allowing travel within the EU without the need for more tests or quarantine. The European Parliament's negotiator, Juan Fernando Lopez Aguilar, tells a media conference the document will restore European's freedom of movement.
