Eun-jung lost USD 30,000
17 Apr – It was reported that T-ARA's Eun-jung was robbed during T-ARA's visit to Italy, losing EUR 23,000 (USD 30,078).
According to T-araworld website, the former leader of the group had been put in charge of handling all the trip money for T-ARA and CCM's new girl group. During a break in Milan, Eun-jung's handbag was stolen by a thief on her way to buy a coffee.
A staff member revealed that despite showing a tough exterior post-incident, the singer was seen crying in her hotel room afterward. Eun-jung apologised by saying, "I'm so sorry to T-ARA and the other seven members. I will reimburse the money when I return to South Korea."
Luckily, other important belongings such as their passports were not lost with the money.
