With Tuesday’s record £184 million EuroMillions prize not being won, this Friday will see another chance for people to land the huge jackpot.

The National Lottery website and app was hit by a rush for tickets in the build up to Tuesday’s draw – but the money was not won, meaning there is another chance tomorrow.

No tickets across the nine European countries which play the Lotto EuroMillions matched Tuesday’s winning numbers, which were 6, 13, 22, 45 and 49 plus the Lucky Stars 10 and 11.

If the sum is won by a single UK ticket it would eclipse the previous top UK prize of £170 million, won by an anonymous EuroMillions ticket holder in 2019 – and it would automatically make them richer than singer Adele, whose net worth is £130 million.

How to buy a EuroMillions ticket and when is the draw?

The next draw takes place on Friday this week and anyone over 18 wishing to try their luck in the UK can buy a single line for £2.50.

Each ticket has up to seven lines of numbers that can be played – that can either be picked personally or at random with a Lucky Dip.

You can set up an account and enter online on the National Lottery website, or picking up a lottery ticket at selected shops across the UK.

What happens if the EuroMillions is not won on Friday?

After nobody won the £174 million jackpot last Friday night, the top prize rolled over into Tuesday’s draw and has reached an eye-watering £184 million (220 million euros).

The jackpot has now been capped at this level and cannot roll over again.

However, if no one wins the jackpot, it will remain at this level for another four draws if no one claims the prize.

If the jackpot is not won on the fifth draw then the money is shared between all winning ticket holders at the next prize tier – for people who are just one number short of the top prize.

This could mean the creation of several new multi-millionaires.

What time is the EuroMillions draw?

The draw for the EuroMillions takes place at around 8.45pm (UK time) and is broadcast live on the National Lottery website.

Anyone wanting to play have until 7.30pm on the night of the draw to buy tickets, either online or in shops.

Draws takes place on Tuesday and Friday every week.

How many numbers do you need to win a prize on the EuroMillions?

To scoop the jackpot, players need to match seven numbers in total – all five main numbers and the two Lucky Stars.

Organisers say the odds of picking all seven numbers correctly is one in 139,838,160.

However, there are 13 different prize tiers – so players are still able to win life-changing sums of money if they don’t win the jackpot.

The odds of winning any prize at all are one in 13.

Matching all five main numbers could win you over £13,000, while matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars could net you over £800.

Matching four or five numbers on a ticket can net you between £20 and £100, while three numbers could win you just under £10.

Even matching just two numbers on your ticket could win you £2.50, while every ticket automatically enters you into the UK Millionaire Maker game – which has a guaranteed £1 million winner in every draw,

You have 180 days from the draw date to claim your prize.
